Scent of Her

The tall trees in the woods
serves green and watersheds.
The clouds up in the sky
are then as white as silk.

But now all things have changed

'cause people are so numb,
they keep on dumping wastes
on every vacant lot.

And this is one last cry

to every citizen,
take good care of our earth
so we'll not miss her scent.

Whipped Cream and Coffee

People come and people go
Hearts will talk and bid adieu
Eyes will meet and lips will touch
Body's heat will tear apart.

Leaps and bounds I run to you

Rain or shine longing for you
Blocks and walls around were built
Losing you within a blink.

Locked within a maze called love

With no one to act as guide
I pray to the Divine one
it's you in my dreams I find.

Upon view of the sun

a new hope in me will spark
Giving back the strength I lost
bringing back the man I lost.

Love and smile and joys abound

as our music's played aloud
Walking down the path of peace
our book is shut, sealed with a kiss.

An Angel Within Reach

You're no Gabriel, Michael, or Raphael
You have no wings or a halo on your head
Neither you live in a place beyond skies
nor you sing songs of praise while strumming the lyre.

What you are is an angel within reach

not beyond my sight, not far within my thoughts.
When you walk down the hall and flash a sweet smile
my world turns pink and feels like I'm in cloud nine.

But all these things are petty fantasies

Like a child dreaming of a fairy tale.
You have your own angel within your heart
whose means so divine and a brain so superb.

So I content myself by staring at you

Whenever you stand in the middle of the room
And I try to excel in all my schoolwork
because the truth is that you're my professor.
